TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Bring in the clowns — the big top is back!

The Florida State University Flying High Circus shared photos and videos on Facebook this week, announcing major progress on the circus tent.

The posts said dozens of circus students and staff volunteered all week to get the tent back up, so FSU can now start prepping for shows once again.

This recovery was long awaited since tornadoes destroyed the tent and circus last May.

This story from October shows fundraising efforts to rebuild the damaged tents:

The Florida State University Flying High Circus is working to once again take the stage after their iconic tent was destroyed in the May 10 tornadoes.

Since then, the circus has worked to fundraise not only to rebuild but to expand.

According to their fundraising page, they exceeded their goal and raised over $15,000.
